Local San Diego artist and good friend of We Love Creativity; Eric Wixon, has been working on 10 new abstract paintings for his artist residency at Alexander Salazar Fine Art. Eric’s opening reception is this Wednesday, August 10th from 7p – 9p at 640 Broadway in San Diego. Make sure to stop by and show some support for this local artist that is on the rise.
Eric Wixon is a long time friend and one of the original supporters of WLC. Over the years we have enjoyed watching the progression of Eric’s art and always look forward to seeing his latest work.
This Saturday, October 16th, is the Fifth Annual Fruit of the Soul Event in San Diego. FOTS is a culinary event paired with art, music and a cause. This years cause being the Monarch School, A Reason To Survive (ARTS), Olivewood Gardens and Learning Center, and Sezio.
We met Eric Wixon in early 2008 through good friend and photographer Russell Spencer. We’ve always been amazed by Eric’s artwork and have enjoyed watching it evolve over the past few years. We continuously approach him with crazy ideas, so when we decided to make our first run of Limited Edition Prints…we knew he’d be ready to join in on the fun.
