We had a chance to hang out with shaper, surfer, and artist Tyler Warren a few weeks ago to shoot our first video interview…edit will be done soon. Tyler is an amazingly talented human with a very humble attitude towards life and art. This Saturday is his solo show entitled Time and Space at the Loft 9 Gallery in San Diego.
World renowned graffiti artist and creator of Calligraffiti, Niels Shoe Meulman, recently opened the Unruly Gallery in Amsterdam. To celebrate the opening of the gallery, Shoe curated his first exhibit entitled, the Unruly Gallery Group Show.

Mike Maxwell’s first solo exhibit at Subtext Gallery is opening this Friday (May 20th) at 6p. The exhibit titled Extra Sensory, features new works by Maxwell “that are very much influenced by psychedelics and the questioning of waking reality.”
We made it out to The Human Pyramids Collective opening of Foreign Affairs at AR4T Gallery last night. Needless to say, the night was full of good times with lots of art, amazing people, and of course…booze.
Our friends over at The Human Pyramids Collective have teamed up with AR4T Gallery in Laguna Beach to bring you, ‘Foreign Affairs’. New works by the collective will be on display May 5th – 30th, with the opening party on May 14th (tomorrow) from 7p – 10p.
Skye Walker is a graphic designer and fine artist that lives in Cardiff, CA. At the age of nine Skye decided that he wanted to be an artist while drawing a picture of Garfield the cat. Skye believes that collaborating is one of the most important things you can do as an artist, and has turned many of his collaborations into lasting friendships. Now for our exclusive interview.

Aaron Lieber has been a good friend of ours for several years. We’ve watched him navigate his way through the action sports industry one video clip at a time. Now he’s releasing Leave A Message, his latest project with Nike 6.0 and director Jason Kenworthy. We caught up with Aaron to discuss the film.
Today was the opening of MOCA’s current exhibition, Art In The Streets. The exhibition runs from April 17th until August 8, 2011. Artists include: Banksy, Swoon, Risk, Saber, Os Gemeos, Neckface, Shepard Fairey, Retna, Lance Mountain, Barry McGee, Kaws, and Terry Richardson. Art In The Streets is a must see for anyone that lives remotely close to Los Angeles.
